No Taste For Bad Taste

From April 4 to May 13, 2017, Bina Baitel takes part in the inauguration at the Furniture Milan Show and to the respective exhibition NO TASTE FOR BAD TASTE, about French Design, organized by the VIA and the French Furniture Industry, in partnership with the French Institute.
It is a commun project around artists, journalists, institutions, firms and of course designers. NO TASTE FOR BAD TASTE, it is 40 iconic pieces from the XXIth French Design whose are doing an international travel, in a poetic scenography from Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, celebrating the VIA 40 years, in the service of tomorrow design. The projects are the favorites of 40 international personalities of the world of arts, curator of the MOMA or indian designer, philosopher or fashion designer, etc. The VIA is the first organization of meetings, trends and exhibitions from the French Design.
It is with RECTO VERSO, project awarded by the VIA design award in 2015 and piece selected by Didier Krzentowski (collector and founder of the Galerie Kreo) that Bina Baitel take a part in the adventure.
Recto-Verso is a reversible lamp that uses OLED technology and encased with leather. By a simple gesture, RECTO-VERSO* offers different luminous atmospheres : a direct light when the emitter side is face-up, or indirect mood-lighting in reversed mode. Associating an intuitive gesture with component that uses advanced nano-technology, the Recto-Verso lamp offers new interaction with light.
