Mirror-lamp

Grimm takes its inspiration from the fairy tale of Snow-White by the Grimm brothers, in which a magical mirror reveals images of invisible truths.
The mirror-lamp introduces us to an innovative interactive experience, one in which our image is reflected in a luminous projection embodied by a drop of mirror.

Grimm is part of a study about the relationship between the refraction of light and the reflection of image. The curves of the lampshade in blown glass, the reflecting bulb and the flat surface of the mirror multiply the reflective surfaces creating a game of reflective images and lights.
By joining a lamp and mirror, elements that are usually placed next to one another in the domestic environment, Grimm creates a new typology in our everyday life.
