It Bag

It Bag reinterprets the IKEA Frakta bag, icon of democratic design.

Dressed in the scandinavian traditional sheepskin, only the polypropylene straps marked with the company name make it possible to recognize the multi-purpose bag.

The bag of our daily life, in its utilitarian function, is transcended by an audacious material misuse. A new contextualization that offers a new perception and reveals an exceptional object.

Project developed within the travelling exhibition In the mood for IKEA organized by Elle DecoLab and presented for the first time to the Cité de la Mode et du Design in Paris in 2012.
