Pad & Shagreen

The Pad and Shagreen table lamps are part of Under my skin collection. A range of lights in which the skin of the object is both matrix and hybridization vector.

Combining technological innovation and high-end french craftsmanship, these luminaires sublimate the interaction between material and light.

Mutant lights, the lamp becomes a desk hand or free space.

Combined with an exclusive formal concept, the skin creates this hybridization between the light source and the plane surface. It is no longer just an envelope but the essence of the object. These leather galls confer a land giving substance to the light path.

The Shagreen lampshade is made with shagreen and black leather and the Pad lamp is entirely of natural skin-coloured leather.
